Social Security Retirement Planning
The Ever Changing World of Retirement:
2022 Strategies to Help Reduce Market Risk & Explore Retirement Income Streams
With the 2015 budget act making the most sweeping changes to Social Security in 15 years this workshop discusses the changes that will impact your retirement. In addition the 2019 SECURE ACT added more changes that you will need to know for your retirement planning.  Since then new rules for retirement planning have been added every year, including changes to your (RMD) Required Minimum Distribution. An RMD is an IRS-mandated amount of money that you must withdraw from traditional IRAs or an employer-sponsored retirement account each year. It's important to understand when you need to take an RMD, how to avoid potential costly penalties for late distributions, and maximize your withdrawal strategy.
This 90-minute workshop, which is being taught nationwide, focuses on the importance of understanding your options with Social Security. Topics discusses include: retirement income planning and Social Security timing options.
