The Community Enrichment Financial Group (CEFG) conducts educational workshops in small community settings to help individuals understand the holistic process of helping you plan for retirement.

Ted Rich, CLU, RICP, is a member of the Association of Financial Consultants, TM which is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It serves as an informational teaching resource for the general public. Association of Financial Consultants, TM is an all-volunteer non-compensated Non-Profit. Our mission is simple, offer high-quality education through free educational workshops and classes in a non-selling environment. Our member fiduciaries and consultants are committed to public service. Association of Financial Consultants, TM acts as an educational resource for Americans who want to learn more about planning for their financial future. We offer educational workshops and classes at no cost or obligation to the attendees. This service is provided by member fiduciaries and consultants in a completely non-selling environment. Our members are committed to ongoing education to help Americans educate themselves and understand complex financial topics through simple language and are bound by a Code of Conduct that demands integrity, accountability, and transparency. Our member fiduciaries and consultants are licensed professionals and share a passion for educating individuals within their community. Our members donate their time and knowledge in classroom-style settings. â€‹

Ted Rich is a co-founder of Community Enrichment Financial Group and a long-time retirement education advocate with over 43 years of experience in the financial industry. Since 1986, he has taught more than 300 retirement planning workshops throughout New Jersey, helping older adults better understand retirement income strategies, distribution planning, and the practical decisions that shape financial security in retirement.

A South Jersey native, Ted graduated from Atlantic City High School and the University of Delaware. He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations through The American College of Financial Services. In 2013, he completed the Retirement Income Planning Certificate program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania—strengthening his focus on helping retirees align income planning, taxes, and long-term goals.

Ted is a Qualifying & Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)*, the premier association of financial professionals. In 2026, he achieved his 27th consecutive year of MDRT membership, is a 10-time qualifier for MDRT’s Court of the Table (COT), and has been a member of the MDRT Hall of Fame since 2015.

Beyond his professional work, Ted has a long history of community leadership. He is a Life Member and former Chairman of the Board of Seashore Gardens Living Center of Galloway Township and a charter board member of MOSAIC—Meaningful Outreach & Support for Aging Individuals & Caregivers (formerly Seashore Gardens Foundation). Ted is also a Life Member of the Congregation Beth Israel Board of Trustees in Northfield, NJ, where he previously served as President and Chairman of the Board. He has additionally served on the Atlantic County Crime Stoppers Board and the Linwood Public School Superintendent’s Advisory Council.

Ted is a Retirement Income Certified Professional in the Linwood, NJ office of PEGG—Professional Economic Growth Group. He resides in Linwood with his wife Janet, and they have two adult children and a granddaughter.
